Biography
Ben Sessions has been recognized as a Top 100 SuperLawyer by SuperLawyers Magazine from 2018 through 2020, and he has been consistently recognized as a SuperLawyer from 2015 through 2021. He is 1 of 4 attorneys in Georgia to be Board Certified in DUI Defense by the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD). Ben focuses his practice on the defense of clients charged with DUI and other drug and alcohol-related offenses. Ben has co-authored articles and participated in seminars before the NCDD and other organizations.
Ben received the “DUI Lawyer of the Year” award from the Georgia Defense of Drinking Drivers (DODD) Group in 2011. In 2010, he was recognized for the “Greatest Trial Victory of the Year” by DODD. Ben was recognized as a “Rising Star” by the SuperLawyers publication in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Since 2015, Ben has been recognized as a “SuperLawyer” by the SuperLawyers publication. In 2012 and 2013, Ben was recognized as a “Legal Elite” in the area of DUI Defense by Georgia Trends Magazine.
Ben is a Faculty member of the NCDD and he serves as the State Delegate. Ben also served as the Co-Chair for the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council’s annual DUI Trial Strategies seminar since 2014.
